Three Arara residents set to be charged for aiding Tel Aviv gunman

Three residents of the Israeli-Arab town of Arara were set to be charged in a Haifa court on Wednesday for allegedly aiding Nashat Milhem, the gunman in a deadly shooting in Tel Aviv on New Year’s Day.

According to Channel 2, the indictments reveal the gunman’s escape route after he fled the scene in Tel Aviv to his hometown of Arara in the northern Wadi Ara region.

One of the men set to be indicted Wednesday was reportedly suspected of involvement in helping to hide Milhem, and provide him with food and drugs before he was killed in a shootout with security forces a week after the attack.
