Ukraine to Israel: ‘Don’t let your emotions impact bilateral ties’

Ukraine fired back late Sunday evening at Israel’s decision to cancel a scheduled visit by Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman because of Kiev’s vote in the UN Security Council, saying it is confident “emotional debates” in Israel won’t impact strong Ukrainian-Israeli ties.

Volodymyr Groysman was scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. Jerusalem nixed the visit, however, after Ukraine was among the 14 states that voted on Friday for the anti-settlement resolution at the UN.
