NEW YORK – Prosecutors say a second man has been charged in an investigation involving a New York City college student accused of plotting with the Islamic State terror group.
Freed Mumuni stands accused of trying to stab an FBI agent during a search related to the investigation. Authorities identified him as an Islamic State sympathizer. His lawyer had no immediate comment. On Tuesday, authorities announced the arrest of another suspect in the case, college student Munther Omar Saleh.
