Israel-based startup ARCHIMEDICX launched at Tel Aviv’s DLD Innovation Festival on Thursday, a search engine of hospitals which provides crucial information to patients and healthcare providers.
Arutz Sheva visited the festival to understand how the search engine works.
ARCHIMEDICX ranks hospital services around the world according to a number of parameters, including budget, waiting time, language, and food.
The data base is composed of millions of data points, gathered for a long time by an experienced team of researchers, based in Belgium.
The methodology is certified by HIMSS Europe, a subsidiary of HIMSSInternational, a global, not-for-profit organization focused on better health through information technology (IT).
"A personal tragedy, which involved my only sister who became a victim of bad choice when she needed a simple medical intervention, has brought me to understand our limited ability to choose the most appropriate hospital for our needs," Moni Milchman, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, noted. “Until now there was no way to help millions searching daily for the most suitable hospital to match their specific medical procedure without being confused or mislead.”
ARCHIMEDICX is available in nine languages.
