Watch: Remembering the Victims, Reviving the Unity

Arutz Sheva spoke on Tuesday with Racheli Frenkel, mother of Naftali who was one of the three Israeli teenagers abducted and murdered by terrorists a year ago.

Frenkel was speaking after thousands gathered in Ra'anana to remember Naftali as well as Gilad Sha’ar and Eyal Yifrah.

She described the event as “the most emotional, amazing, musical, optimistic evening”.

“Music has its way of connecting people,” said Frenkel, who added that the families would like to preserve the unity that was shown among the people of Israel during the difficult time of the boys’ disappearance.

“We make sure to have our private moments and weep when we weep, but also to be happy when we’re happy, and we’re very happy to connect with people,” she added.
