A speaker at the UK Labor Party's annual conference evoked the Nazi gas chambers in a speech earlier this week.
Sioux Blair-Jordan said disabled people were being "demonized" by the current Conservative-run government, while praising the new Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn – who warmly embraced her following the provocative speech.
"We need the disabled and the sick to be seen as human beings," she said. "We have our right to have our rights upheld and we need the NHS. We also need the EU to uphold our human rights because if [Prime Minister David] Cameron does his Bill of Rights we might as well walk into the gas chamber today."
